League Two side Chester City are believed to be interested in signing former Accrington Stanley pair Jay Harris and David Mannix.
However, any deal will have to wait until a transfer embargo enforced by the Football League is lifted.
Chester's proposed move for former Stanley midfielder Anthony Barry is also on hold due to the embargo, which was put in place following non payment of players wages.
