Accrington chemical company takeover
AN ACCRINGTON businessman has completed a six-figure takeover of a chemical company.
Mike Gardner has taken full control of Image Chemical Products, a company he helped set up over 20-years-ago, after completing a management buyout.
Mike set up the company in 1985 with fellow director Terry Butterfield and has now taken full control of the business, which manufactures cleaning products for the automotive industry, following Terry's retirement.
Financial support for the deal came from NatWest which provided Mike with a £750,000 funding package to complete the take-over.
Mike Gardner said: "This was an ideal opportunity."
